World Series of Poker is having DraftKings Logo Removed from the Official Set
Have you watched any of the World Series of Poker Games? If you have you may have noticed that there is a logo on the official set of cards that is played with. This Logo belongs to the daily fantasy sports site DraftKings. So if you a World Series of Poker fan and watches these games, you will no longer be seeing the daily fantasy sports site DraftKings logo as the widely televised tournament returns for its annual game in Las Vegas which is set to start on November 8th 2015.
It has been confirmed by a spokesperson that represents the annual poker contest that is owned by Caesars Entertainment Corporation, that in fact the daily fantasy sports site DraftKings asked that their logo actually be removed from the gaming poker table felt as well as any signage that may have their logo be removed during this events final match.
This request that came from the daily fantasy sports site DraftKings has come to light right after Nevada regulators determined that daily fantasy sporting sites does in fact constitute gambling. Nevada regulators have ordered that these daily sporting sites shut down until the businesses obtain the proper gambling licenses.
The daily fantasy sports site DraftKings has in fact been a sponsor for the past year of the World Series of Poker Games and tournaments which also include the sponsoring of one out of the 68 events that are held in the series.
The final face off that is between nine of the remaining poker players will be a three day event. The nine final players will be vying for $7.7 million that is set to start on November 8th 2015. ESPN who also has an advertising partnership with the daily fantasy sports site DraftKings will be broadcasting this tournament.
