This summer, we’ll be seeing operators launch some of the largest series ever hosted.

There are three online tournaments set to run this July with $300 million+ worth of tournament guarantees over at PokerStars, partypoker, and GGPoker.

Let’s see what they’re all about.

After launching its $25 million guaranteed Summer Series that ended on June 21, PokerStars has revealed its Stadium Series.

The upcoming series will begin on July 5 and run until August 2, with a total of 102 tournaments that are scheduled in those four weeks.

A total prize pool of $50 million will be guaranteed, along with some $2 million free tickets allocated as well, offering players a chance to take a shot at the big prizes based on player merit alone.

A month ago it was announced that partypoker would be partnering with the World Poker Tour for the WPT World Online Poker Championships.

The WPT World Online Championships will run from Friday, July 17, 2020, to Tuesday, September 8, 2020. During that time, some of the best tournament players will be battling it out for a share of around $100 million worth of guarantees.

There’s a 12 Championship Events, including 5 Champions Club status events, with the winners going straight into the WPT Tournament of Champions. Also, there’ll be a host of side events running in parallel.

Each Championship Event (excluding Champions Club) is split into three levels: main, mini and micro, with buy-ins starting from $33.00.

After running the WSOP Circuit Online series which saw almost $150 million paid out in prizes, GGPoker has done a deal with World Series of Poker to launch the first-ever sanctioned WSOP to be hosted outside of the United States that will award official bracelets to the winners.

Starting on July 19th, 2020 they will be competing for WSOP gold bracelet in 54 different events on GGPoker.

Though there will be no live events yet, these three series promise a lot of excitement. And this will also have a good impact on online poker in general.
