Team Ivey Adds Another Highly Rated Pro To Its Ranks
Poker giant Phil Ivey is a name that has been on many peoples lips of late. At the weekend it was reported he won around $750,000 in a little over 48 hours whilst playing online last week, in addition to the news about his long standing divorce settlement finally come to an end with his estranged wife Luciaetta. Now it has been announced that his new project, Ivey Poker, has signed another big name to add to the fast growing list of names already involved with the eight time World Series of Poker Bracelet winner.
Lucille Cailly is the latest player to sign up to Ivey Poker. Cailly has won nearly $2million in her short career so far, and shot to prominence only last year when she finished second in the prestigious European Poker Tour Main Event (EPT). In addition to her second place cash at last years EPT Cailly also has one cash from the World Series of Poker and World Poker Tours to her name, as well as another four from the EPT.
Speaking to Ivey Poker the young Frenchwomen said, “I am really happy and honoured to join such a great team, and I can’t wait until IveyPoker launches. I hope I can offer the community as much as it gave me. A très bientôt!”
Cailly also took to Twitter to break the news by tweeting, “So proud and so happy to be joining #TeamIvey. Can’t wait to play under my new colors.”
Things are certainly looking up for Phil Ivey then and everyone who is connected with him at Ivey Poker. Ivey is currently in Australia and will be the captain of Team USA at The Caesars Cup Team Event, an event that sees the elite players from USA, Europe and Asia competing against each other. The way things have been going of late Phil Ivey and Team USA are almost near certainties to take down the title it seems.
