Schedule Announced For World Championships of Amateur Poker (WCOAP)
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) maybe the ‘Blue Riband’ event on the poker calendar, but the buy-ins are out of reach for many amateur players, especially those that do not live in America. The Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) in the UK is home to the World Championship of Amateur Poker (WCOAP) and the schedule has been released for next months event, an event that has buy-ins that are affordable to all.
This year the WCOAP is being run in partnership with Coral Poker, with this years event being held at Aspers Casino in Stratford, London from Tuesday 15th April through until Monday 21st April. Members of the APAT can purchase their seats today for all 16 events via the lobby at Coral Poker, where the APAT tab is clearly listed for all to see.
There will be a wide range of events taking place at this years championships with Hold’em, Stud and High Roller events taking centre stage, but there will also be Omaha, Razz, Six-Max, Shoot-outs and HORSE events too. The full schedule of this years events is listed below, but be warned places are limited so you need to act now if you wish to secure your seat for the 2014 WCOAP.
