Sam Trickett Signs For Everest Poker

Written By: Maya Michaels | March 11, 2014 | Posted In Poker News

Sam Trickett is a name that is recognised throughout the world of poker and not just in his homeland of Great Britain, and quite rightly so when you consider he has won in the region of $20million during his career. Everest Poker clearly recognise the talent of Sam Trickett as they have announced he is to be a brand ambassador for their online poker room.

As part of the new deal Trickett will attend Everest Poker Events as well as providing coaching and writing blog posts on a regular basis. He will also provide video updates from this years World Series of Poker (WSOP) and other important events during the year as well.

In a press release Trickett said, “I’m very excited to be joining Everest Poker. I’m looking forward to interacting with our players online and at Everest Poker Live events, where I’ll be playing and coaching. Everest is a great poker brand and I will be doing everything I can to make it one of the most recognized in the world.”

Trickett may not have won a WSOP bracelet yet during his career, but he came close during 2012 when he placed 2nd in the $1million The Big One for One Drop, for which he received a cool $10,112,001, and he will be entering the event again this year when he hopes to go one better and claim his first coveted WSOP bracelet.

Des Duffy is the Director at Everest Poker and he said, “We want to encourage players to get behind Sam’s quest for a first bracelet this summer. With Sam’s consistent record of cashing at high profile tournaments there could be a huge amount of value on the table. Plus we’ll capture the atmosphere of Las Vegas through a series of video blogs that Sam will be recording during the series. I think for players who can’t make it to Las Vegas themselves, having a share in Sam Trickett will be the next best thing.”

Trickett will no doubt be confident of claiming that first elusive WSOP bracelet, and with his record in big events such as The Big One for One Drop it will come as no surprise if he walks away from Vegas with that coveted bracelet this summer.
