When it comes to the World Series of Poker, so many people follow along with the games, the winners, the losers and those that try their hardest but cannot seem to buy their way back in. As for having a winner that is less known, and perhaps from your own hometown then that is usually unheard of when it comes to such a large event where so many pros go and mostly win out the games at the end. This is not the case for the man from Rochester, Minnesota that took home the earnings from the last World Series of Poker tournament. He is able to tell his story, and we were all ears on it.

The Winning Round

When it comes to winning, he never thought he could. But in fact, the man that they are all now talking about turned $1,000 into over $250,000 with just a couple of rounds of poker. He went through over 1,400 different entries to make it to the final table and out beat them. If you thought you were tired, that was nothing compared to what he had to go through. So many out there want to win this, and many perfect their skills throughout the year to be in his place, but he pulled it off and couldn’t be happier about the outcome.

He did say that many players he played against had strong skills and it definitely was a close one with many of them. He also stated that he could think of others that played that could have won the ending but sometimes the game is tricky and that is the best part about playing it in the first place. You decide your outcome, and you play hard and believe in yourself and you just might win it.

He did.

He busted four players during the nine tables that he shuffled through, and ended up with the win, the bracelet and the earnings. If you thought this was big, he is ready to take on the next tournament that comes his way. He is not letting go of the dream, and he is not letting go of those earnings either.
