PokerStars Announce Schedule For Spring Championships Of Online Poker
Already this year at PokerNet.com we have brought you news of the schedules for the PokerStars MicroMillions VII and the Pokerstars Turbo Championships of Online Poker (TCOOP). Today we can bring you news of the schedule for the PokerStars Spring Championships of Online Poker (SCOOP), championships that get underway on Sunday 4th May and conclude on Sunday 18th May.
This years event will have a guaranteed prize-pool of $40million and each day of the championships will feature three events for the first time in its history, with each event having a Low, Medium and High buy-in available. The 2014 schedule features a vast array of different events, including NL Hold’em, Limit Hold’em, H.O.R.S.E., 2-7 single draw, Badugi, Stud and Five Card Draw. This years event will also feature events that are rebuys, turbos and re-entries too.
Day 1 will start at 11am EDT with the NL Hold’em 6-Max event with buy-ins of $27 for the Low Event, $215 for the Medium Event and $2,100 for the High Event. The afternoon schedule on Day 1 will see NL Hold’em events of $27, $215 and $2,100 take place, and in the evening, which starts at 5pm EDT, Hold’em Turbo Progressive Super Knock-outs will be the order of the day with buy-ins of $11, $109 and $1,050 respectively.
The event will come to a close on Sunday 18th May and will feature the Main Event, an event that starts at 2.30pm EDT with buy-ins of $109, $1,050 and $10,300. At least $100,000 will be awarded to the winner of the Low Buy-in, with $300,000 being awarded to the winner of the medium buy-in, with the Main Event champion of the High buy-in walking away with at least $500,000.
This years SCOOP promises to be the biggest and best yet, and with buy-ins starting as low as $5.50 there really is an event that should suit all bankrolls.
