The EPT President is Edgar Stuchly and he had this to say regarding this years event. He said, “The EPT has been leading the way in live poker for ten years, and this year’s EPT Grand Final will be the biggest and best ever. With more tournaments than ever before at lower buy-ins alongside our other events plus a wide range of cash games, a greater variety of players will be able to experience the EPT, creating a fuller festival atmosphere. The EPT is a tour dedicated to providing an enjoyable and world-class poker experience for everyone, with a choice of games and buy-ins that you simply cannot find anywhere else.”
Last years event was recognised as one of the best final tables in recent years with the likes of Jake Cody, Daniel Negreanu, Jason Mercier and eventual winner Steve O’Dwyer all making the final table, with O’Dwyer winning $1.6million. If this years event lives up to the promise of last years then it could be a great two weeks in the French Riviera.
