PayPal Taking its Talents to Online Poker

PayPal has become one of the biggest names in business with its innovation and easy access online banking system. The company has had a major impact on the landscape of online commerce for nearly a decade and now has ambitions of taking on a new sector of the gaming industry. Just announced PayPal will now be accepted in Nevada for players to utilize their e wallets to participate in online poker rooms. This would be the first state to allow the interaction between PayPal users and gamblers.

Users will be allowed to deposit real money into their account at WSOP.com which is an online poker roomed owned and operated by gaming giant Caesar’s Interactive Entertainment  which is a subsidiary to Caesar Entertainment Corporation. The growing interest in online gaming, especially poker rooms has been a hot topic for the last few years. The addition of PayPal will allow non credit card users and those who have lost faith in the traditional banking system to partake in one of the great past times of America. Online poker rooms once allowed throughout the country is projected to be a billion dollar industry with potential numbers forecasted to change the economy drastically.

PayPal is one of the largest online platforms in the world harboring nearly 200 million users and completing roughly $4 million in transactions daily. Adding their services to the online gaming will only strengthen the push for country-wide declaration of the online gaming world. In Europe players have already been able to utilize the service to join online poker rooms as the US figures out litigation that will allow monitoring of these massive money makers. The United States is losing out on a budding financial boom as of right now but the tides are turning for online gaming and it looks to be heading our way soon.
