Bots are designed to play against human players or some other software. These bots are programs that use algorithms and mathematical concepts to mimic the gameplay of a player and it has the aim to make profitable long-term decisions at poker games. The concepts which the bots use give them an advantage over regular players.
The safety of their players has always been the top priority at partypoker network.
Therefore, partypoker has established a team made up of former poker professional players equipped with the experience and knowledge to investigate suspicious activity and root out these bots.
“Two years ago it wouldn’t have been possible, but after seeing the security department first hand, the team working there and the tools they are using, I’m very confident now that they can tackle people trying to play against the rules. In my opinion it isn’t worth somebody trying to bend the rules because, in the words of Liam Neeson: ”They will find you, they will catch you and they will…ban you!’” – said Patrick Leonard, member of the partypoker pro team.
The team at partypoker tasked with the responsibility of keeping their servers bot-free ask the players to report any suspicious activity and contact the fraud team directly and the team will make sure that the case is investigated.
The safety of partypoker players will continue to be the number one priority.
