MicroMillions Tournament Series Returns to PokerStars
We’ve got a piece of great news for all low stakes poker players. MicroMillions Tournament is back at Pokerstars!
Everyone’s favorite series will be happening for the second time this year.
Pokerstars, one of the world’s largest online poker rooms which hosts the biggest tournaments announced that after a successful run in July, their popular tournament MicroMillions will make a return.
This is the 16th edition of the famous online series which started on November 10 and will run through November 24.
The most affordable and inclusive online poker tournament series to date will feature 147 low priced events. For example, there are 89 Hold’em tournaments, but you will also be able to enjoy different formats, too.
This time around, PokerStars has increased the total guarantees.
Now, a $4.3 million is guaranteed in prize money, which makes it $500K more than the previous edition held in July. Moreover, the average guarantee per tournament is also slightly higher – $29,252 instead of $26,027.
As expected of any MicroMillions series, you don’t need big money to play for big prizes. The entry is very low, buy-ins range from $1.10 to $5.50 range, which is great for all types of players, especially low-stakes ones.
PokerStars Streamer Mason “PyeFacePoker” Pye, agrees that there is no other series where players are able to turn small buy-ins into huge prizes. He stated the following about the latest series:

You should look forward to huge Phased Event with a buy-in of just $4.40 and a $500,000 guarantee. In addition to this, there is of course GTD Main Event taking place on November 24. It features a massive $1 million guarantee!
