GVC Holdings online poker subsidiary PartyPoker has made a set of enhancements to the look and feel of the lobby and tables after analysing the feedback from a large group of players.

Notable changes will be conducted in two phases and the first that meets the eye is the new darker colour scheme that has been created to improve players’ experience, especially for those playing longer sessions.

The phase one changes include improved product navigation, collapsible game filters to allow more space to view game choices, faster-updated sit & go HERO lobby in order to differentiate between 3 and 4-handed games and removal of the one-click lobby as almost all players said they prefer the traditional view.

Managing director of PartyPoker Tom Waters admitted their product needed some polishing up and that they have been listening very carefully to what the players have to say. They really hope the new improvements will satisfy the players’ both expectations and needs.

“We acknowledge that our poker product needed some love. We have been working on this project for a number of months with the support of a large group of players. We have been testing the phase 1 release over the past couple of weeks and the feedback from the players has been extremely encouraging. There are many more enhancements in the pipeline and I am confident that by the end of 2017 our players will be delighted with the improved look and feel and the usability of the software.”

At the end, he acknowledged the feedback was a great inspiration for the improvements.

“We know what the bigger issues are and believe that these upgrades will address all of those. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to feedback and suggested improvements. I hope that the new PartyPoker player experience is to everyone’s liking.”

The phase two enhancements will be released in the next quarter of the year and some of the changes will be the ability to view full-screen lobby, better table look and more customisation options,  further filter, display, game and tournament information improvements.

Partypoker is among the largest online poker card rooms with up to 80,000 players logged-in. The site is run by GVC Holding and is available in 14 different languages.
