Full Tilt Poker will be staging their first live poker event since their reintegration into the poker world, with the event being staged in Galway, Ireland later this year. The inaugural Full Tilt Poker Galway Festival as it will be called, will get under way on Monday 29th July and run for two weeks until Monday 12th August.

The two week festival will be staged in a purpose built village right in the heart of Galway, and there will be a total of 55 events on offer during the two weeks, culminating in the five day €€1,000,000 guaranteed United Kingdom and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) Main Event.

Sarne Lightman is Full Tilt Poker’s Head of Marketing and he had the following to say about the Galway Festival. He said, “This is our first live poker festival since relaunch and we plan on making it one players will always remember. In the coming weeks we’re going to have lots more exciting details to announce, plus some special news about a unique online feature for the UKIPT Galway main event, so watch this space!”

It sounds as though Full Tilt are throwing everything they have at the festival to make this event a real success. As well as the much coveted five day main event there will also be The Irish Poker Championships and The UK versus Ireland Heads Up Challenge. The event will also see The Irish Bridge Masters taking place, an event that has a guaranteed prize pool of €€10,000 with the winner taking home €€5,000.

Satellites and qualifiers are already up and running, and for just €€1.10 you could win yourself a seat to the main event which starts on Thursday 8th August. Full Tilt Poker are working hard to forge their way back into the worlds poker elite and with the help of the two week Galway Poker Festival they may get there sooner rather than later.
