Americas Cardroom Expanded CAP Table to All Limits
Barely a week after introducing CAP table, Americas Cardroom has already expanded CAP table to include all limits. They had introduced CAP tables at low stakes tables in their latest software update. Now, CAP tables are already available at low, medium and high-stakes without needing software update to access the latest expansion.
Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris said that this feedback on CAP tables was a “overwhelmingly phenomenal”. Low stakes players could not seem to get enough of CAP tables. There were tons of requests from high stakes players to offer it on their own tables. Now, CAP tables are already offered to players of all stripes.
CAP tables basically limit how much the players can bet. The CAP remains the same for each hand and is often set at 30 times the big blind. So, when the player has bet the CAP over the course of the hand, this is considered all-in. Hardcore grinders can highly benefit from them.
With the Beast attracting a huge number of serious grinders to its tables, CAP tables will certainly make online poker a lot more exciting. This new table type can be found by searching for a table name and adding CAP next to the name in the poker lobby at Americas Cardroom. CAP amounts are always displayed alongside table names.
Americas Cardroom has also recently seen a spike in their tournament traffic. On Sunday, they had handed out 14 packages, each worth $5,000 to the Punta Cana Poker Classic. They had previously promised on 12 packages, but they ended up attracting more players than expected; thus, raising the number of packages to 14.
Players who weren’t able to make it last week can play this weekend on the 4-package guarantee on Sunday. This will cost $250 + 15 to get in. Anyone can win their way through the game even with a low buy-in satellite.
