888poker Ambassador Dominik Nitsche Wins Millions Superstorm Main Event

Online poker operators have been hosting massive online tournament series in 2020, providing plenty of poker action to players who have little or no access to live poker during the pandemic. 

888poker was one of them, though on a smaller scale and more accessible to larger audiences with varying bankrolls.

The latest series was a huge one that ran from September 10 through October 11. Over those five weeks, the 888Millions Superstorm offered 480 tournaments. 

The buy-ins ranged from $5.50 to $530, altogether guaranteeing at least $8 million in prize pools.

And in the end, 888poker Ambassador Dominik Nitsche won the finale – the Main Event – for more than $121K and a prestigious online poker title.

The day of the win also happened to be his birthday, so that probably made the celebration greater.

The 30-year-old made his way up through a total of 3,196, and 567 returning Day 2 players to claim the top prize. The returning players included several 888poker ambassadors, including Martin “MJacobson888” Jacobson, Dominik “888Dominik” Nitsche, and Ana “AnaMarquez.” Marquez.
