This years World Series of Poker (WSOP) is currently on a break until Monday 4th November when the action will resume and this years Main Event Champion will be announced. One player has already plenty to celebrate and that is JC Tran, who is currently the chip leader in the WSOP, as he has just signed for Team 888Poker as their newest pro.

JC Tran is of Vietnamese origin, but now lives in California with his family, will now represent 888Poker at the upcoming World Poker Tour (WPT) and WSOP Europe, as well as representing his new team in numerous online events as well.

Speaking about his new contract Tran said, “I am extremely excited to work with 888poker and looking forward to a great experience. I can’t wait to represent 888poker at my best and help in any way possible.”

Inbal Lavi is the Vice President at 888Poker and he had this to say about his companies latest acquisition. He said, “We are excited to have JC Tran join our Team 888poker, his attitude towards the game and inviting personality embodies what we look for in our Team ambassadors. This year Team 888poker will be at its strongest and should bring some exciting content and opportunities to our continuously growing poker room. Good luck to Tran and the rest of our Team.”

888Poker will be well represented at this years final table as Jay Farber and Michiel Brummelhuis have also signed to be Team 888Poker pros as well. JC Tran is no stranger to success as he already has two WSOP Bracelets to his name, a WPT title and is also a World Championship of Online Poker winner too. His tournament winnings are in excess of $9million, but a win in the WSOP Main Event in November will see him propelled to one of the poker greats if he manages to take down the title and the $8million first prize. All in all it has been a good few months for JC Tran and things are about to get even better it seems.
