Tipp24 SE, an online gambling operator has publicised that Andreas Keil is to join its board of directors from next month as Chief Financial Officer where he will be sitting alongside its Chief Executive Officer, Hans Cornehl.

Tipp24 mentioned that Keil has been a freelance business and financial consultant for the ‘last few months’ after spending five years as Chief Financial Officer for speciality chemicals firm H&R AG.

The 49-year-old started his career with auditing company Ernst & Young AG and worked as a Managing Director within the US ConocoPhillips Group from 2006 to 2007. Before this he had various management positions with the Louis Dreyfus Group which include six years as Managing Director of a major oil refinery.

Cornehl has been the only member of the board of directors for Tipp24 since it spun-off its German lottery brokerage business into a public limited company known as Lotto24 AG in July with the 45-year-old now set to take up the additional role of Chairman.
