10th WSOP Circuit Tour Scheduled Announced
The poker world is gearing up for the 44th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) which gets under way in just over a weeks time, and as you would expect the tension is already building as players from all over the world start to descend on Las Vegas. The event has yet to start, but already the WSOP Circuit Tour has announced its schedule for the 2013-14 season and here at PokerNet.com we can bring you all the information you will ever need for next seasons tour.
The tour will commence on Thursday 8th August at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, and this will be the first event of 22 that are scheduled for the coming season. The tour finale will commence on Thursday 8th May 2014 at Harrah’s New Orleans, and the end of season WSOP Circuit Tour Championships will also be held in May at Caesars Atlantic City.
There are also three new stops scheduled for the coming season and they are in Cleveland, Quebec and Cincinnati. The Horseshoe Cincinnati in Ohio is the first of the new stops with the tournament commencing on Thursday 19th September. The second new addition will see the WSOP Circuit Tour head to Canada, with the action taking place at the Casino Montreal in Quebec, with the first cards being dealt on Thursday 14th November.
The final new addition will be held at The Horseshoe Cleveland, with this particular tournament starting on Thursday 20th March 2014. Ty Stewart is the Executive Director of the WSOP and he had the following to say about next years Circuit Tour. He said, “The WSOP Circuit continues to pick up momentum. We’re proud to have become North America’s largest poker tour, and believe we have the most complete offering out there. With big fields, good value, and exciting stops, the action doesn’t stop all year.”
The action doesn’t stop and if you cannot make this years main event the WSOP Circuit Tour is a great opportunity to experience live poker first hand, with buy-ins that are considerably cheaper than the annual event. You will not have to wait long because the first event is less than three months away now, and who knows you could be one of the next big winners.
