The winner of the 2017 WSOP Circuit main event that took place at the Bicycle Casino and Hotel was Dylan Wilkerson.  Wilkerson came out on top out of 705 poker player entries in the $1,675 but in no limit hold’em tournament in order to win his very first gold ring and of course the $216,790.00 jackpot.

Dylan stated that winning always feels good, no matter how big.  And this one was pretty big, so yeah it is pretty good.

Wilkerson was in the 8th chip position when it came down to the final day with a total of 12 poker players left, and a number of these players were top opponents that had to be contended with which included Carlos Mortensen the 2011 WSOP main event champion, Matt Stout the WSOP Circuit ring holder, and Toby Lewis the 2010 European Poker Tour Villamoura Champ.

Carlos Mortensen was sent to the rail in the eighth place by Dylan Wilkerson when his Ace of Hearts suit Nine of Diamond Suit out ran the Hall of Famer’s Ace of Clubs Suit and Jack of Clubs Suit.  Carlos went home with a total of $25,550.00 for this very impressive run.  Matt Stout was put out in the fifth place after his hand of pocket kings also failed to defend his place against Douglas Jefferson’s Ace of Diamond Suits and Nine of Club Suit, but Stout added another $55,150.00 to his total career earnings bringing it up to 3.5 million dollars.
