PokerStars have been the leading poker room in the world for a number of years now, and now as they approach another milestone they are set to launch their Carnival of Tournaments to celebrate their 800 millionth tournament.

The Carnival of Tournaments is PokerStars way of saying thank you to all their players as they are offering more than $2million in boosted guarantees and more than $700,000 in added prize give-aways too! The promotion runs for a week and starts this coming Sunday 13th October and will come to an end on Sunday 20th October.

Tournament 800 million will bring the celebrations to an end on Sunday 20th October and it will be a $109 buy-in with a $1million guarantee, but of course that could easily increase further if it attracts a huge number of players. Also during the first two hours of the 800 millionth tournament PokerStars will be giving away $100,000 in added prizes so it really is a must play tournament.

In the lead up to the big event all tournaments from 14-18th October will see the guaranteed prize pool increased by a huge 50%. That is not all because on Saturday 19th October all Big Tournaments will see the guaranteed prize pool double in value and on the Sunday all Big tournaments will see the guarantee triple in value!

As well as all those extra guarantees PokerStars will be bringing back their ever popular Golden Sit & Gos too, which will see $500,000 be given away during the first seven days of the Carnival of Tournaments festival. Every single player who registers for a sit & go tournament could win a prize, with table prize pools doubled, tripled and even quintupled as the week long festival comes to an end!

It all adds up to a great week of poker at PokerStars and one that any player will want to be part of, so keep the diary clear from this coming Sunday and who knows who could be celebrating a big win thanks to the PokerStars Carnival of Tournaments.
