PokerStars Third Annual Turbo Championship of Online Poker Starts Today
Tonight the third running of the PokerStars Turbo Championship of Online Poker (TCOOP) gets underway and runs through until Sunday 2nd February. The tournament will feature 50 events over the 11 days, events that come with a huge guaranteed $15million in prize money.
According to the PokerStars Team Pro Lex Veldhuis the event is “unmissable” as he said, “TCOOP has become an unmissable online festival for me, because the speed of the tournaments means you can win five and even six figure sums in just a few hours. Plus, the wide range of games and tournament formats means there’s always something different to play each day.”
As PokerStars Team Pro Lex Veldhuis rightly says there is something different to play each day as the buy-ins for the event range from the smallest of just $7.50 all the way up to the highest of $2,100. Event 32 is the smallest buy-in of the 11 day festival, which is the NL Turbo Hold’em 3xRebuy which has a guaranteed prize pool of $400,000, with Event 47 being the NL Hold’em $2,100 High Roller Event which has a guaranteed prize pool of $1million.
The Main Event of this years TCOOP is Event 49 which is the $700 NL Hold’em, an event that comes with a huge guaranteed prize pool of $2million, and at least $300,000 is guaranteed for the winner. This years event will start with a bang later today with the 6 Max $27 NL Hold’em Event, an event that has a guaranteed prize pool of £750,000.
