The European Poker Tour (EPT) have today released details for this seasons EPT Grand Final in Monaco, with 48 events taking place during April and May.

The EPT Grand Final in Monaco will take place at the Monte Carlo Casino and will commence on Wednesday 23rd April and run through until Friday 2nd May, and as usual it will be held in partnership with PokerStars. Two notable events are the €25,500 High Roller and the €100,000 Super High Roller, with the Grand Final Main Event being the €10,600 No Limit Hold’em which starts on 26th April with the first of two starting days. With 48 events taking place over the 11 days of action there really is something for all bankrolls because nearly half of the events have a buy-in of €500 or less.

The EPT President is Edgar Stuchly and he had this to say regarding this years event. He said, “The EPT has been leading the way in live poker for ten years, and this year’s EPT Grand Final will be the biggest and best ever. With more tournaments than ever before at lower buy-ins alongside our other events plus a wide range of cash games, a greater variety of players will be able to experience the EPT, creating a fuller festival atmosphere. The EPT is a tour dedicated to providing an enjoyable and world-class poker experience for everyone, with a choice of games and buy-ins that you simply cannot find anywhere else.”

Last years event was recognised as one of the best final tables in recent years with the likes of Jake Cody, Daniel Negreanu, Jason Mercier and eventual winner Steve O’Dwyer all making the final table, with O’Dwyer winning $1.6million. If this years event lives up to the promise of last years then it could be a great two weeks in the French Riviera.
