PokerStars 2017 SCOOP

This amazing series jumped into overdrive this past Sunday with the beginning of a total of 5 events that held 15 tournaments.  Although the PokerStars SCOOP (Spring Championship of Online Poker 2017, as already been in full swing for a total of a week, it was this past Sunday that really marked the beginning of the biggest series in online poker history.

55 Million Dollars in Guarantees

From the dates of April 30th, 2017 to May 23rd, 2017 Poker Stars is offering a total of 55 Million Dollars in Guarantees over the course of the 57 events.  In other words, that is more than 15 million dollars over last year’s SCOOP 2016.

Day 1 of SCOOP is a structured Phase event that started on April 30th, and will continue until the last day of the series.  The survivors of the Phase 1 will go on to play for the humongous prize pool within the Phase 2 step.  There are a total of 3 buy in levels that SCOOP 2017 offers the players for each of the events.  The poker players will be playing for a total of 1 million dollars, 1.5 million dollars, as well as a 5 million dollar prize pool on the 21st of May. 

Sunday Overdrive

This exciting series jumped into overdrive this past Sunday which featured the beginning of a total of 5 events, and if that was not enough 15 different tournaments as well.  Some of this past Sunday’s headlining events included SCOOP-03-H; SCOOP-04-M; SCOOP-04-H; $2,100 Progressive KO, as well as the Sunday Million SE, all of which were promising a guaranteed prize of 1 million dollars. 

With all of the action that took place on Sunday, none of the events that were being played crowned a champion.  Each of the tournaments that were being played, a total of 15 were a two day structure, although some actually did reach a final table.
