Dracula Poker Most Recent Room To Shut Down

Written By: PokerNet.com | August 21, 2012 | Posted In Poker News

Another online poker room has pulled the plug on their operations. Dracula Poker has recently closed their doors to their patrons and have joined the number of online poker rooms that have shut down their operations permanently.

This iPoker Network skin catered to players residing in Romania and Hungary. They immediately shut down their operations last week. But Dracula customers don’t need to worry about unresolved accounts and claims. Their accounts have already been transferred to the larger iPoker Network skin, TitanPoker.com.

Lucky for Dracula players they won’t have to think about the transferring credits to another room. Players from other rooms that have closed down weren’t that lucky. Those who played in Purple Lounge Poker and 5050 Poker were left high and dry when both rooms shut down with no promise of re-opening.

One of the chairpersons of Purple Lounge Poker’s parent company has been arrested in Orlando,Florida this summer after he resisted arrest. Chairman Chris Gorman was caught by the police inside a men’s room of a hiphop club, but was released thereafter. His wife, Mary, has also been charged with drug possession and assaulting a police officer.
