Betfair, a sportsbetting exchange and online casino operator has revealed that it will release its New Betfair Poker service later this month providing poker to players via the iPoker Network from software designer and supplier Playtech Limited.

Betfair mentioned that its New Betfair Poker service will operate alongside its Classic Betfair Poker offering, which will continue to be supplied by Ongame Network Limited, in order to enable people to enjoy a ‘rich poker playing experience on the two leading poker networks’.

“Launching New Betfair Poker on Playtech’s platform will help us to continue to achieve this goal. It’s a world-class product offering unique and innovative features. Betfair revealed that the new service has been designed to provide players enhanced tournament options, additional tables and more recreational players to compete against. It is also designed to include the Speed Poker feature, which provides players more games with less waiting time between hands.

A statement from Betfair also read, “New Betfair Poker will also feature new and unique promotions and a rewarding loyalty scheme with lucrative sign-up bonuses offered to new customers,”

Playtech’s Roei Gavish said “We’re delighted to announce Betfair’s migration to iPoker.com,”

“Our network continues to see positive development from both a liquidity and technological standpoint, which not only benefits a large operator like Betfair but also secures Playtech’s leadership in the poker business-to-business market.”
