888poker is guaranteeing that 2017 WSOP Main Event qualifiers will receive a 10 million dollar payout as long as they win it.

This is called the “Supersize ME” promotion; this year’s WSOP Events official sponsor will actually be making up the difference between the usual payout and the guaranteed 10 million dollar payout.

Jamie Gold who won a total of $12,000,000.00 and Martin Jacobson who won a total of $10,000,000.00 was the only two poker player to win 10 million dollars or more as a first place prize in the WSOP main event.

So, 8888poker has decided to allow those who qualify to be part of the 48 year history of the World Series of Poker Main Event.

The winner would ultimately have to qualify in the steps satellites for a penny or buy in directly to one of the $1,050.00 qualifiers each and every Sunday through June 28, 2017.

Player that qualifies will receive a prize package that includes the following:

A VIP Welcome session as well as a 888Live poker kit

A $10,000.00 Main Event buy in

$1,200.00 for daily travel and other expenses

A 5 night stay at the Vdara Hotel in Las Vegas for July 9th through July 14th

148 poker players qualified for the WSOP Main Event from 888poker last year, only 30 of these players actually qualified through the Supersize ME promotional satellites.  During last year’s event the satellites only made these qualifiers eligible for a total of a 5 million dollar bonus if they actually won the Main Event.

Joldis Cosmin who is from Romania was the last qualifier in that field and finished in 85th place.  Griffin Benger and Fernando Pons who are both regular 888poker qualifiers were playing at the final table of last year’s poker event.

Niether of these poker players were actually eligible for the Supersize ME promotional event but they both walked away from the final table with a winning of more than 1 million dollars.
